A new book, The Art of Sacrifice, by George Petrou is being released this month in Adelaide. Over 70 portraits, 63 stories and 425 pages, Melbourne artist explores the idea of valour, of courage bravery and of sacrifice and the book includes a chapter on Sir Hubert Wilkins.
The Illustrated Sir Hubert Wilkins by Jeff Maynard
Perhaps the best Wilkins historian there is, Jeff Maynard, has now released his new Wilkins book. The Illustrated Sir Hubert Wilkins is a result of his 25-year search to locate the lost records and artefacts left by Sir Hubert Wilkins. The search has led him to locate material around the world with the majority of objects and photographs in The Illustrated being seen for the first time. Orders can be made through his website here
